On August 12–13, 2026, the product appraisal meeting for the “NPS28 Class 900 High-Temperature Large-Diameter Force-Sealed Ball Valve,” jointly organized by the China Machinery Industry Federation and the China General Machinery Industry Association, was successfully held in Chengdu. The successful completion of this appraisal marks another milestone for Chengdu Chenggao Valve in its pursuit of domestic substitution for high-end valves.

          The Appraisal Committee was composed of senior experts from China's valve and petrochemical engineering sectors. Mr. Sui Yongbin, former Chief Engineer of the China Machinery Industry Federation, served as Chairman of the Appraisal Committee, joined by six distinguished experts from Hefei General Machinery Research Institute Co., Ltd., Sinopec Guangzhou Engineering Co., Ltd., Sinopec Engineering (Group) Co., Ltd., CNPC Huadong Engineering Design Corporation, China Chengda Engineering Co., Ltd., and PetroChina Sichuan Petrochemical Company. The meeting was chaired by Mr. Huang Li, President of the China General Machinery Industry Association. Mr. Zhang Zonglie, Vice President of the China General Machinery Industry Association, attended the meeting, and Mr. Ding Qi, Chairman of Chengdu Chenggao Valve, delivered the welcome address.

          Appraisal committee experts and participating representatives toured the company's production and testing facilities, witnessed selected factory acceptance tests, reviewed the company's development summary report, examined relevant documentation covering design, manufacturing, testing, inspection, and quality assurance, and conducted in-depth technical inquiries and discussions. The Appraisal Committee concluded that the developed high-temperature large-diameter force-sealed ball valve features independent intellectual property rights, fills a critical gap in the domestic market, and its principal technical parameters and performance indices have reached the advanced level of comparable international products. It is suitable for promotion and application in petrochemical, coal chemical, natural gas gathering and transportation, metallurgy, and other industries.

          This appraisal meeting served as a comprehensive review of Chengdu Chenggao Valve's technological innovation and manufacturing capabilities, and provided an important platform for the company to connect with top-tier industry resources and accelerate its market expansion in the high-end valve segment.
